DT Taco is a new restaurant opening soon in downtown Anderson, SC. We are looking to hire experienced staff for all positions. We are a locally owned and operated restaurant, looking for some hard working team members to join our crew and grow with us.  

Positions include:

Server:  Take customers’ food and drink orders. Ensure that all orders are accurate and brought to each table in a timely manner. Suggest appetizers and meals to customers based on the menu and specials. Work closely with restaurant management to immediately address all customer concerns and create a pleasant dining experience. Confirm orders with the chefs and bartenders whenever a clarification is requested. Assist with setting tables and rearranging tables to accommodate larger parties. Ability to utilize a restaurant POS software platform.

Line/Prep Cook: Duties include prepping and preparing menu items, maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen, taking direction from team members, cooperating with other staff, and abiding by all health department regulations. Experience preferred.

Host/Hostess: Greet customers as soon as they walk through the door. Provide patrons with accurate wait time estimates during busy periods. Maintain a neat, organized front-of-house environment.. Assist with opening/closing tasks and side work as needed. Rotate seating between different stations to ensure even workloads for wait staff. Answer phones and direct calls. 

Busser/Dishwasher: Prepares dining room for patrons by setting tables and stocking all necessary supplies prior to the beginning of service. Maintains table settings by removing finished courses and replenishing utensils as necessary. Maintains a clean and sanitary bussing station. Loading and unloading washing machines. Washing specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots, etc) 

Bartender: Deliver excellent customer service to all clients. Keep bar area clean in accordance with the company’s guidelines as well as the requirements of the local health department. Mix all drinks based on the serving sizes as outlined in the company manual to keep drink costs at a minimum. Develop an efficient work pace that keeps the customers at the bar and in the dining room satisfied at all times.
